On the islands that make up Indonesia, there consists of over 130 volcanoes that are active. Krakatoa (also known as or spelled as Krakatau) was one of those volcanoes. It was located in the Sunda strait, between the two islands of Java and Sumatra. Sadly Krakatoa had blown itself away, literally, and is now replaced with "Anak Krakatau", which means "Child of Krakatau". Anak Krakatau still has eruptions to this day.
